Finally Saturday afternoon we got some sun. Not necessary for our family to be on the beach but when it's around 50 degrees, the sun is a welcome sight! I have very little else to add to the previous post so here you go. I will say that I took approx. 300 pictures in under 48 hours....also I took about 10 minutes of video as well. If it seems like I put a lot of pictures in my blog...imagine what's sitting on my laptop!
If you've never heard me say it I am the luckiest girl in the world! hands down. Since we moved down to NC I've been trying to figure out how to get the dogs down to the beach. I was so curious to see how they would both react to the surf and sand. Well Tim told me that for Valentines Day (which is my favorite holiday EVER!) he was taking the dogs and I to the beach for the weekend. (Like I said....luckiest girl ever) We ended up getting down to the beach around 830 on Friday night but we took the dogs right down to the beach. Clearly there are no pictures of that because it was dark but it was hysterical to see Maddie react to the waves. She couldn't tell what they were so she kept getting close and running away. This was a precursor to the next day! We couldn't wait to see what they'd do. These are just a few pictures from the first outing. You will see that she would go full force in to get her ball and then as soon as the waves would get close she'd bolt. In a day in a half she body checked Chester numerous time, knocked Tims knees out at least 3 times, she even tried to take me out...can you imagine...Her own Mother! I am going to try and do three separate posts...since there were three times we took them to the beach to play. Below are a few pictures from their first trip. It was very overcast on Saturday morning and around 11 it rained for a little. It game them a chance to recover for their next trip in the afternoon.
Maddie running from the waves. Once again running from the surf....if you look out a little you can see her ball sitting in the water. My crazies! My handsome man....he really enjoyed the beach. I was worried how he'd react, mainly because he doesn't like change.
**FYI I am far to tired tonight to edit any of these so they're just right off of my camera. So sorry for my laziness! haha**
