NC Zoo!

Tim and I finally had a weekend in NC that we could just relax and enjoy. We took Saturday and went to the NC Zoo. It was awesome. We spent about four hours just walking around and talking to the animals. I have a lot more pictures but this is all I have the patience to put up right now. This is Tim in the bamboo forest.
These are a few of the pictures of the elephants. For those of you who don't know Tim LOVES elephants. We have a whole collection of elephant stuffed animals among other things. We spent a lot of time hanging with the elephants. They were so close...you could seriously almost reach out and touch them.
Did I mention I love my camera and my new lense. It really brings me right up to the animals.

Another flower pictures. I seriously have at least 20 pictures of flowers. I may not be able to grow them but I sure like taking pictures of them.
If you enter through Africa you walk over this huge pond/lake (I'm not sure which it is). This is the view after you cross it.

I'm going to try and put more pictures up tomorrow. I do have 6am swim practice and them work all day so assuming I'm not dead when I get home I'll get more up! NIGHT!
